At Astral House Interior Design, we were brought on board early by our clients who had just purchased a brand-new luxury residence at Art House St. Pete, the iconic new development by Kolter Urban in the heart of downtown. They had not even seen the space in person yet, but they were full of excitement, ready to create a second home for family, kids, and grandkids, a place that feels like a retreat, while still being deeply personal.
That’s exactly what we love to do.
Led by Orshi Wren, our team began working closely with the Kolter team and our clients during the early construction phase in 2024. We reviewed digital plans, selections, and elevations, and used detailed 3D renderings to bring every corner of the future space to life, before a single piece of furniture was ordered.
Designing for St. Pete’s Coastal Lifestyle
Our vision: a coastal transitional retreat that celebrates St. Petersburg’s relaxed elegance and waterfront living. Think elevated textures, handcrafted materials, and thoughtful contrast.
We sourced natural, high-quality materials like oak, seagrass, wool, handmade tile, lapakanay, and coconut beads. The color palette is soft and grounded, layered neutrals with subtle coastal undertones, to bring calm and timeless warmth to the space. Every furnishing, rug, and light fixture was chosen not just for style, but for how it makes you feel. These are pieces with soul, items that feel collected over time, not just installed.

What makes this Art House condo stand out is the intention behind every detail. We’ve designed:
A custom wine bar for entertaining and evening wind-downs
A built-in library nook in the den to curl up with a book
A welcoming entryway with storage that sets the tone of the home
Statement lighting throughout that instantly makes the space feel lived-in, warm, and elevated
Even more meaningful? The clients have a close family member who’s a painter, and we’ve created special zones throughout the home to feature their original artwork, ensuring the home feels not just designed, but deeply personal.
